Glendon Sanders, a First Lieutenant with the US Army, came home early from his tour in Kuwait and surprised his wife at the graduation. Louisiana’s ABC Affiliate followed the surprise (http://www.wbrz.com/videos/soldier-surprises-wife-at-graduation/) from start to end.
Glendon spent 30 hours flying from Kuwait to arrive two days early for the graduation. On the video, he says he was “happy to get back and spend this day with my wife.”
Zachyle is also graduating a day later with a degree in rehabilitation services.
“I’m just speechless,” said Zachyle. “I’m just happy to see him, so happy.”
Glendon has been serving in the Middle East seven out of the fourteen months the couple has been married but that hasn’t stopped their romance. “He’s always surprising me, but I would never dream of anything like this,” said Zachyle.
She says it best.
